Visiting (or leaving) the Scottish islands must be within reach soon. Please! Sharing a three day family friendly itinerary for Orkney. We won’t be locked down forever 🙂
As Scotland heads slowly towards opening up from April 2021, seek inspiration and ideas for future trips. So here’s an outline itinerary for Scotland, for when the time is right. It includes headline attractions that are on many bucketlists, as well as a few lesser known suggestions should you wish try something different. All ideas place family and kids at their heart. Better times are coming…
Some people, quarantined at home, are using some of their time planning, searching the net, and seeking inspiration and ideas for future trips, for 2021 or beyond. I know that a lot of visitors to Scotland wish to dot from Edinburgh to Loch Ness, then to Skye, but I’m here to tempt you up the east coast of Scotland, when the time is right. This region features my favourite castle, the Queen’s holiday residence, the town where Kate & Wills met, plus access to beautiful beaches, as well as distilleries, galleries and museums. This obviously isn’t about immediate adventures, but seeking ideas and inspiration, so do consider the road less travelled.
