Photo Journal: Sandend Beach on the Moray Coast

Photo Journals – when pictures speak louder than words…

Exploring the Moray Coast on the north east of Scotland is ideal for beachcombers keen on blustery innocent adventures. If you’re looking for a stretch of white sand for simple exploration in dazzling sunshine then Sandend may appeal. Tip: bring your wellies to cross the river dividing the two sections of beach. The gentle waves are a good size for surfing, especially for beginners, so check out the nearby surf school Suds.

Twinkle, twinkle with our shadows…

Dune buggy exploration

THE LOWDOWN – Sandend beach is located on the Moray Coast. We drove roughly an hour north from Aberdeen and stayed at the Cullen Harbour Hostel visiting the beach the following morning.

I loved this winter beach exploration but I also loved 10 days in Tenerife as a bit of sun was on the cards for me too!
