Photo Journal – Sailing Loch Katrine on Sir Walter Scott

Loch Katrine cruise on SS Sir Walter Scott – The Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park is a playground for young and old. We took a sail on the iconic steamship Sir Walter Scott, an hour long cruise on Loch Katrine, ideal for mini tourists and their parents. It was pretty chilled, apart from making sure the kids didn’t climb on the railings or squeeze between them, but as a parent it’s hard to truly relax! But I’d definitely recommend this trip if you’re in the area, an achievable way to get kids into the countryside.

Exploring Scotland, pretty unbeatable really…

When we visited Loch Katrine we stayed at the Forest Holidays lodges with hot tubs!

Another key attraction in the area is Blair Drummond Safari Park.
