Welcome to Scots2Travel

What's going on? It all looks different. What's with the new name? Yes, there's been a few changes. Discover more...

If you’re as alert as a meerkat you may have noticed that Tots2Travel has a new name and a new look. I’m quite exhausted and excited about it, but what should it mean for you? Well, nothing really, certainly nothing drastic. It should be a nicer experience to read, technically it should be smarter i.e. you may be able to click to buy venue tickets or book hotels, and, you know what it’s like, I’m a mum of a 3 and a 2 year old so I had loads of time on my hands, twiddling my fingers, so I took on the huge project of refashioning the blog. All credit actually goes to Jo at Geek Fairy who has all the techie geek chic knowledge.

And the name change? Well, the boring techie aside is that the name Tots2Travel was not available, as it had already been bought up so, as we’re based in Scotland, travel extensively within Scotland and when we go abroad deal with the pros and cons of departing from Scotland (hub travel and indirect flights etc.) we felt Scots2Travel was wonderfully relevant. The focus is still firmly on family travel, my kids are both preschoolers and I have the relaxing, pleasure of taking them everywhere with me. But, as my eldest started preschool in August, I am also aware (huge sigh) that they will not be tots forever.

I hope you like the new site and I look forward to sharing more Tots and Scots Travel with you in the future. Any new followers hugely appreciated as ever.

Thank you. Trying to fit it in, alongside life and other work too, delighted with the results but hope I’ve made the right decisions. Love how it looks, and nice to get positive feedback.

I love the name and the logo! Well done 🙂 Plus, this name also give you lots of possibilities when your kiddies are untotted (and become teenage-zombies) 😉 Anyway, congratulations! Your site looks great!

Thanks so much. Certainly gives us more flexibility without losing any of the family material whatsoever.
